Position Description
The Director, Web Solutions leads the strategic vision, development, and delivery of high-impact web solutions that align with business objectives and enhance user engagement. This role oversees end-to-end web project management, including client interactions, technical execution, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that all web initiatives meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in web technologies and have a robust understanding of both CRM integrations and web-based project management, coupled with a strong focus on performance metrics and user experience.
- Develop and execute strategic vision for CivicPlus’s web solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, client needs, and market trends.
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of web developers, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-departmental teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to identify strategic opportunities for growth, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee end-to-end web project lifecycles, including strategy, planning, execution, and post-deployment analysis, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Maintain a client-first focus by cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations effectively, and serving as a trusted advisor on web solution initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on web performance metrics and operational outcomes, leveraging insights to refine strategies and implement scalable solutions.
- Champion operational efficiencies by identifying process improvements, implementing change management strategies, and optimizing workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure web solutions are innovative, secure, and scalable, leveraging modern technologies, industry best practices, and a focus on user experience to maintain a competitive edge.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to enhance CivicPlus’s solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years in web development or digital solutions, with at least 5 years in leadership roles overseeing multi-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience driving strategic initiatives and leading change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact, web-based solutions that meet organizational and client objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of web-based CRM, CMS platforms, and project management software.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks.
- Exceptional ability to motivate and lead diverse teams, fostering collaboration across departments.
- Skilled in managing priorities, meeting goals, and driving alignment in complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experienced in setting and managing client expectations, delivering updates, and addressing challenges with professionalism.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making, performance tracking, and leveraging insights to enhance outcomes.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and the ability to implement process improvements that drive results.
- Estimated Salary Range: $130,000- $140,000
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
