Position Description

 Reporting to a Director of Sales Development, the Manager, SDR I is responsible for driving the overall success of their CivicPlus  Sales SDR team, achieving defined team quotas and goals, ensuring SDR adherence to processes, as well as promoting individual SDR professional growth and success.  

 What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years previous management experience (preference for SDR management experience)
  • 1-4 years of previous experience as an SDR in a fast-paced sales environment  
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Passion for hands-on management of an SDR team
  • Strong organizational skills and process adherence  
  • Strong CRM proficiency (preference for Salesforce) with a focus on reporting

As a Sales Development Manager, you will:    
Defining & Executing
  • Define lead campaigns following Directors’ strategic guidance (focus on verticals, sub-verticals and geographic regions)
  • Create and manage calling strategies & sales campaigns for SDRs
  • Coordinate with Marketing team for a targeted lead distribution process in alignment with current strategic focus
  • Drive success of SDR sales quota (daily touches, meetings booked)
  • Work with the closing team to ensure a smooth hand-off of meetings booked
  • Actively collaborate with Marketing and Sales Ops on inbound campaigns, processes and reporting 
    Managing, Supervising, Coaching, Training  
  • Coach and mentor SDRs to overcome sales prospect roadblocks and maximize booked meetings  
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 reviews with SDRs to achieve sales targets and evolve professional development  
  • Review SDR calls on a weekly basis and provide feedback/direction to SDRs & Director of Sales  
  • Development for your team  
  • Manage daily & weekly meetings with the team to report on activity  
  • Participate in hiring activities, define team target in collaboration with the Director of Sales  
  • Development, address performance issues  
  • Assist in both initial and ongoing SDR training and education  
  • Drive success of SDR sales quota and KPIs (daily touches, meetings booked)  
  • Work with the RevOps Team and the AE Team to ensure a smooth hand-off of meetings booked  

Monitoring, Tracking and Adjusting Strategies  

  • Analyze the results of campaigns and identify trends and areas for improvement  
  • Ensure the output of the SDR team is in line with expectations, closely monitoring both quantity and quality  
  • Ensure SDR adherence to processes, messaging, and sales methodology  
  • Report to Director of Sales Development on metrics, team successes, failures and activity  
  • Re-align prospecting strategy, in collaboration with Director of Sales Development, as necessary to ensure SDR team meets pipeline creation expectations
  • Maintain SDR Process documents and exercises for product knowledge, day to day processes, overall strategy and requirements

Compensation and Benefits:    

  • Estimated Salary Range: $ 61,700 - $87,600 annually
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
