Continuous Improvement Leader & Process Engineer

We are looking to hire on a contract basis a Continuous Improvement Leader who is accountable, innovative, and detail-oriented. This position is part of our G&A team and will report to the SVP of Operations.
Contractor Responsibilities:
- Lead Value Stream Mapping workshops to analyze current processes and design optimized future workflows that reduce waste and improve performance.
- Manage improvement projects by translating process designs into actionable plans, tracking KPIs, and ensuring sustainable execution.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to identify bottlenecks, standardize processes, and drive continuous improvement across teams.
- Build business cases for change by quantifying financial impact (ROI, cost savings, revenue gains) and aligning initiatives with strategic goals.
- Influence and mentor through data-driven storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and coaching on process improvement methodologies.
Contractor Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, or Operational Excellence roles.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Value Stream Mapping activities.
- Strong project management skills with ability to deliver initiatives from concept to execution.
- Proven ability to build and present business cases with financial justification.
- Proficiency in Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in technology-enabled process improvement (automation, AI, workflow tools).
- Familiarity with operational excellence frameworks (Kaizen, Theory of Constraints, Business Process Management).

- Estimated Salary Grade Range: $119,100,- $181,100
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
