Position Description
The Strategic Analyst role provides timely, relevant and accurate sales, marketing and payments reporting and analysis. This position analyzes key drivers and metrics to support decision-making and progress tracking. Sample projects include dashboard creation and maintenance, ad hoc analysis, forecasting and regular review of key performance metrics. The successful candidate will have a self-driven curiosity and possess a passion for creating innovative analysis to identify opportunities for company growth. Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas into action.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Strong numerical abilities including experience with quantitative analysis, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), CRM systems, and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, particularly in SaaS, tech, or high-growth industries.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Analytics
- Experience with reporting and analysis of payments data, including interchange analysis
As a Strategy Analyst I, you will:
Provides timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis to support the organization
- Perform ongoing sales, marketing and/or payments performance analysis to support daily operations
- Analyze payment usage and associated costs to identify opportunities for optimization
- Presents data findings to key stakeholders across the organization
- Suggests and drives process improvements related to reporting and analysis
- Designs and develops user-friendly dashboards prioritizing a strong UX/UI through design best practices and feedback loops with users
Preparation and Delivery of the forecast
- Prepares and delivers sales, marketing and/or payments forecast
- Utilizes Salesforce and financial systems to consolidate and report on forecast performance
- Analyses key drivers of forecasted results vs prior periods and projections and pushes findings to leaders
Performs ad hoc modeling and analysis
- Performs complex data related analytical projects to drive business decisions and efficiencies
- Finds new sources of data and works with data scientists to incorporate into existing databases to execute analysis and present scenario-based modeling for data driven decision making
- Monitors and reports relevant industry data and peer comparisons
- Gathers, analyzes and summarizes data related to various business proposals
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated Salary Range: $61,700 - 87,600. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
