  • Acts as the front-line contact for general inquiries
  • Answers inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Directs clients to rooms/halls within the facility; contacts appropriate staff via two-way radio for support when necessary. 
  • Uses computerized scheduling system to obtain facility information; assigns dressing rooms for ice rentals; and, distributes dressing room keys.
  • Resolves issues or relays improvement suggestions to appropriate staff (calls Supervisor when appropriate).
  • Performs administrative duties including filing facility rental contracts/amendments.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Must be reliable with good attitude and employment record.
  • Must successfully complete a medical examination if required.
  • Must have the ability to support and project values compatible with the organization and to participate as an effective team member.
  • Must have a minimum Grade 12 diploma.
  • Must have highly developed customer service skills and be able to pass applicable testing.
  • Must have excellent communication and listening skills in order to determine caller needs, understand and relay information, build positive rapport, confidence and trust.
  • Must be able to deal with customers tactfully and effectively in a fast paced, ever changing work environment with frequent interruptions.  
  • Must have cash-handling skills and be able to pass applicable testing.
  • Must be proficient with software programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and have the ability to learn new software programs easily and pass applicable testing.
  • Must be able to find information and provide customers with answers quickly and accurately while using multiple resources.
  • Must have problem solving skills in order to resolve stakeholder problems.


From September – April, shifts include:

Some event mornings 6am-9am

Evenings 5pm – close and weekends 6am – close

Shifts may vary based on facility usage
