About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Tax Services team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

  • You will manage private equity tax deliverables and client relationships, including preparation and review of tax estimates, year-end tax workpapers, and Schedule K-1s
  • You will review federal and state tax returns prepared by 3rd party
  • You will manage and train direct reports and coordinate assignments
  • You will research federal, state, and international tax issues
  • You will liaise with clients and their tax advisors on the preparation of partnership income tax returns
  • You will liaise with Fund Accounting, Onboarding, Waterfall, and other Citco teams globally
  • You will develop and improve processes around growing private equity business to enhance client offering
  • You will participate in technology automation, procedure development, and other special projects
  • You will assist in the pursuit of new business, including sales pitches and pricing of engagements

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of relevant private equity tax experience with high volume operational environment
  • You have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
  • You have knowledge of private equity structures
  • You have knowledge of partnership accounting and allocations, including tax waterfalls
  • You have experience with federal and state tax return compliance
  • You have experience with managing and/or leading staff
  • You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product
  • You have strong Excel skills; knowledge of Investran a plus
