The Role

This role will lead a sizeable team of HR Shared Services team members executing transactions across various HR processes. The role will support the broader HR leadership team by way of performing seamless and accurate transactions through the progressive HR Shared Services framework. Other responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of 20+ direct/indirect team members within the HR Shared Services function to ensure the timely and accurate delivery for a progressive and consistent employee experience
  • Develop team members through cross-training and skills development, ensuring knowledge sharing and business continuity.
  • Accountability for the day to day performance of the HR Shared Services team, ensuring adherence to SLA's and KPI's
  • Reviewing and reporting on relevant KPI's or SLA's of the team
  • Proactive planning, ensuring efficient utilization of HR shared services resources.
  • Close collaboration and regular interaction with the larger HR team
  • Promoting a high-performance culture, with a focus on team collaboration,
  • Ensuring data quality on the HRIS and supporting various internal and external audits
  • Highlighting, escalating and reporting risk events, if any, appropriately
  • Contribute in the upscaling of the scope of HR Shared Services and implementation and maintenance of HRIS

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience and a thorough understanding of global HR Shared Services operations
  • At least 15 years' experience working as HR Leader within HR Operations / HR Shared Services supporting internationally or globally
  • Proven capability to lead, develop and motivate a team spread across multiple regions
  • Should have proven leadership capability of implementing or upgrading an integrated HR system to support an efficient and consistent HR shared services environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills liaising with employees at all levels in the organization
  • Comfortable in working for multiple time zones across the globe
  • Ability to manage high workloads & conflicting priorities, both in support of the HR team and businesses alongside all employees.
  • Strong customers focus mind-set. Passionate about employee experience and driving continuous improvement for all processes.
