About your Responsibilities:
The Professional Practices Team (PPT) Assistant will assist the PPT Manager to improve the consistency of approach and use of audit applications by all internal audit staff, coordinate reporting from Internal Audit; assist in development of training resources; assist in the process supporting the update of the Audit Universe, the risk assessment of audit entities, the annual planning process and the allocation of resources against the plan; assist in the GIA quarterly and annual reporting; and support the administration of GIA systems.
Your Role:
- Reports directly to the PPT Manager and maintains good relationships with GIA team;
- Supports the quarterly and annual reporting to Management and the various Committees to whom the function reports;
- Provides assistance to GIA staff to facilitate consistent use of the TeamMate+ and PowerBI applications, and any in-house developed tools;
- Assists in developing technical training across the function; and
- Performs administrative tasks for GIA including maintenance of the GIA SharePoint site, providing TeamMate+ administrative support for GIA staff and business users, creating and maintaining GIA style templates using Microsoft Office tools and assisting in new employee on-boarding.
About You:
- The candidate should be educated to at least degree level.
- A relevant and recognized professional qualification would be an advantage.
- One to three years relevant experience in a similar internal audit position. Knowledge and use of the TeamMate+ and PowerBI applications will be considered an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with internal audit applications/tools. In addition to automated internal audit applications, proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio is expected.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English are a prerequisite.
