About the Team & Business Line:

For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.

Working with our Global Subsidiary Governance Services team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

Your Role:

  • You will be responsible for high quality deliverables that are in compliance with timelines as set out with the client
  • You will perform accurate review of the following:
    • Journal entries in accordance with local and industry-specific accounting requirements
    • Statutory financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules in accordance with client requirements
    • Transfer Agency-related calculations, notices and investor notification emails, as applicable
    • Additional schedules and reports (GST/WHT Summaries, Surveys, etc.), as required by clients (Regular or ADHOC)
    • You will provide clear and constructive feedback to Shared Service Centre (SSC) on review comments and ensure its corrective application
    • You will communicate and coordinate client matters with clients as well as with SSC, auditors, tax advisors and client’s service providers
    • You will make certain financial transactions comply with financial policies and Citco’s transaction monitoring procedures. Proactively communicate with SSC where necessary to ensure implementation
    • You will escalate operational and client issues to Account Manager in a timely manner
    • You will ensure compliance with Citco quality-control procedures

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, CA/CPA qualification is an advantage
  • You have at least 5 years experience (minimum of 2 years experience in a senior/supervisory level) in accounting or audit
  • You have a minimum of 2 years experience in real estate (preferred) or private equity
  • You have applied understanding of Singapore FRS, IFRS and US GAAP;
  • You are proficient in relevant accounting software (Yardi, Investran) and Microsoft Office applications
  • You have excellent communication (in both written and verbal English) as well as interpersonal skills
  • You have experience in handling multiple engagements and are able to deliver quality work while adhering to strict deadlines
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • You are accountable and able to work with minimum supervision
