About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Bank provides fully integrated transaction, deposit, foreign exchange and credit facilities to our Fund Services and Governance Services clients. Operating in strategic global centres Citco Bank provides access to best of breed process and technology.

As a core member of our Banking team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery across banking services.

Your Role:

  • You will monitor and process incoming and outgoing Swifts related to client funding, while cross checking all in house systems.
  • You will process single currency and FX payment instructions as per Citco’s Service Level Agreement.
  • You will monitor and investigate payments that have hit the repair queue in our Core Banking application.
  • Participate in ongoing analysis of the Repair Queue Report and assist to increase payment STP stats. 
  • You will monitor central team mailbox along with personal email inbox and assist to resolve queries.
  • Create client cases relating to incorrectly formatted payments on the Swift platform.
  • You will carry out intra-day checklist to ensure all daily tasks are completed within designated deadlines.
  • You will review open breaks from the Nostros Reconciliation report assigned to Payments daily.
  • Process journals received from the Finance team.
  • You will report any errors to Management in a timely manner as well as assisting with Incident report write up.
  • You will assist Treasury Back office department with the processing of FX and MM deals.
  • You will facilitate requests from clients or authorized parties on behalf of the client.
  • You will analyze current processes and identifying areas of risk to management.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline, and 1 to 2 years of Payments/ Treasury work experience;
  • You have some understanding of Financial Markets/ Foreign Currencies; Temenos T24, Swift message formatting (e.g. Mt103, Mt202) or Corona systems experience would be an advantage;
  • You are able to work under strict deadlines and have very good attention to detail & accuracy;
  • You are an adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution who is able to escalate issues effectively to Team Lead, Supervisors or Management.
