About the Team & Business Line:

For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.

You will become part of a team of lawyers who jointly manage a portfolio of client companies. You will strive to provide high quality services to our clients and at the same time meeting the KPI’s and targets set by senior management. You show a ‘can do’ attitude in all aspects of the role, are a self-starter and focused on and take pride in the achievement of personal, team and organizational goals. You actively contribute in maintaining and expanding Citco’s business and help to maintain and improve Citco’s operational procedures.

Your Role:

  • You will act independently with regard to standard portfolio and/or assist senior colleagues in the provision of corporate legal and related services to local clients;
  • You will draft and review various corporate documents for all stages of a company’s lifecycle, i.e. from company’s incorporation through to its dissolution, within agreed deadlines and pursuant to professional standards;
  • You will be servicing periodic board meetings of client companies;
  • You will be involved in the preparation of agendas, minute taking and circulation;
  • You will plan, monitor and ensure applicable statutory deadlines across various jurisdictions are met and respective filings with corporate registers are completed on time;
  • You will communicate with (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other Citco offices worldwide to gather information and documentation required to carry out client assignments;
  • You will assist with client on-boarding and off-boarding as well as service model improvements (efficiencies);
  • You will ensure that client’s, local, international and industry specific requirements are met and legal updates are shared;
  • You will ensure internal and external databases are properly maintained;
  • Ad-hoc tasks might arise are required.

About You:

  • You have a University degree in corporate, notarial or fiscal law, or a similar academic background, as well as a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience;
  • You display commercial, service-minded, hands-on and dynamic attitude and have an international mind-set;
  • You have excellent (interpersonal) communication skills,  both verbal and written (German and English;
  • You display good planning and time management/prioritization skills;
  • You are able to work in a team and autonomously as well as liaise with other departments within a large organization.
