About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Private Equity team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

  • You will maintain client Relationship Management:
  • You will maintain and enhance client relationship by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/ product offering.
  • You will leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offering our products and services
  • You will work closely and participate with Business Development and Senior Management teams on marketing pitches and other client presentations.
  • You will work in partnership with the Vice Presidents, oversee the resolution of complex client issues
  • You will visit clients on periodic basis to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed KPIs, SLAs, and Fund Documents.
  • You will work alongside our integration team to establish plan for new client setup and transitions, and assist to develop best operating models for optimal service delivery to clients
  • You will maintain a pro-active customer focus at all times
  • You will enhance current servicing levels and deliver beyond client expectations
  • You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including other operational and ancillary service groups to ensure client deliverables are met timely and accurately. 
  • You will assist in the resolution of complex client issues
  • You will review private equity fund client’s partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials
  • You will develop and implement best practice standards and drive towards efficiencies
  • You will maintain pristine compliance with local regulators and internal/external auditors
  • You will establish and document business contingency plans for all areas of responsibility
  • You will participate in and lead projects that may be defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business
  • You will review departmental procedures and policies and supervise Vice Presidents to ensure adherence to these procedures
  • You will set challenging team goals & empower people to achieve them
  • You will keep people focused on critical goals and deadlines through frequent and consistent communication
  • You will motivate people by creating a high performance environment that is both challenging & exciting
  • You will actively contribute to corporate initiatives as part of the management team
  • You will manage and oversee staffing requirements, coordinate and oversee staffing, hiring, coaching, and development of team members

About You:

  • You are…12 to 15 years private equity hybrid (debt/equities) experience working at a fund administrator or fund manager
  • Experience in managing client relationships and/or with the controllership function of an alternative asset manager
  • Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
  • Skills in negotiation, business planning and budgeting, margin analysis, rating agency relations and technical accounting
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting
  • Knowledge of waterfall structures, modeling and calculations desirable
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA designation a plus
