About the Role:

As the Corporate Secretarial Assistant, you will form part of the Citco Governance Services (CGS) Corporate Secretary team providing top quality services and assistance to office’s Board of Director across various jurisdictions.

The role will suit engaged, motivated individuals who wish to develop and realize their potential within Citco Group.

 

Job Duties in Brief:

  • You will act independently and assist the GS Company Secretary in the provision of company secretarial services to legal entities and directors, including board meeting administration, document execution and ad hoc project support;
  • You will assist with scheduling board meetings, preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, attending the meetings (mostly by phone) and take minutes;
  • You will share the minutes with the relevant parties, i.e., central repository, Group functions.
  • You will follow changes in corporate governance law in certain jurisdictions which may impact service delivery and ensure that international and/or industry specific legal corporate governance requirements are met;
  • You will co-ordinate with colleagues worldwide in order to gather information and documentation required to carry out assignments;
  • You will maintain and develop multiple business relations with offices and other functions within the Division;
  • You will maintain data and ensure proper reporting;
  • Complete special or Group related projects as assigned.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor degree in law, law and management OR studying a professional qualification such as ICSA OR a related discipline;
  • You have a minimum of 1 year experience in provision of corporate secretarial OR legal services OR a related discipline;
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment;
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
  • Excellent organization and time management/ project management skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and should be able to develop accurate written materials;
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English as well as excellent active listening skills;
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft office packages is a must
