As a core member of our Hedge Fund Accounting IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends. In this role you will be part of a critical application re-build. In fact, this roles provides a great opportunity to serve as a QA Test Engineer on the direct and interrelated projects related to a new Citco application development project, and existing technology projects where incorporating automation testing will be essential to its success.


Your Role:

  • Assess technical practicality of testing solutions on an array of technology platforms
  • Identify test cases applicable to user stories
  • Work closely with developers and business owners to define testing needs
  • Perform code reviews and ensure the quality of the test cases
  • Plan, build, execute and maintain automated E2E tests using Selenium WebdriverIO, Puppeteer or similar tools
  • Develop automation test scripts with Python, Robot framework (or) build ground-up test cases with any open source tool
  • Create automation solution that supports the product and engineering road map
  • Participate and contribute on all team activities such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.


About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in test automation or combined test automation and developer experience within an agile cross-functional team environment
  • 2+ years with any JavaScript E2E automation tool such as Selenium WebdriverIO, Puppeteer, Cypress, and Protractor
  • 2+ years programming experience in Python/Node.js, preferred
  • 2+ year experience with API testing using industry standard tools such as Katalan Studio/Postman/REST-assured/JMeter, etc.
  • 1+ year experience with DevOps experience with AWS or any other cloud technology is a plus
  • Knowledge of json, yaml, graphql is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or CodePipeline
  • Familiarity with Project Management and Test Management tools such as JIRA and Xray
  • Must be self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated knowledge and skills in: Creativity, technical analysis, problem solving, communication and client service.
  • Knowledge of financial industry is a plus but not required
