Position Overview

The risk team within Citco provides custom and regulatory risk and performance analytics reports that include, but are not limited to, exposure and P&L reports, liquidity, limits monitoring, scenario analysis, stress testing, value-at-risk, and fund performance analytics to different segments of the market ranging from Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds, Family Offices, and Private Equity firms.

The newly created Automated UAT Manager role within the risk group comes at an exciting time of growth where are strengthening and expanding our risk product offering. The automated UAT manager will be responsible for building from scratch and executing test cases and documenting results during the software development process. This position is part of the product management team and will work with the development team to ensure that the applications built meet expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience with various testing tools and methodologies. They will also be able to create clear and concise test reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand the testing requirements and objectives, as well as the company’s applications development process
  • Develop and execute automated and manual test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, load, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and bugs found during testing
  • Verify that defects have been fixed and retest as necessary
  • Participate in regular team meetings and provide status updates on testing progress
  • Train and mentor other team members involved in testing
  • Prepare reports on test results and participate in post-mortem reviews to identify improvement areas
  • Work on improving the efficiency of the testing process and keep abreast of new testing tools and methodologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Few years professional experience in software testing or quality assurance using tools such as Selenium or JMeter, preferably within financial services
  • Experience building and running automated testing tools
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Qlik Sense, and preferably Jaspersoft
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under limited supervision
