About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

The role entails managing a portfolio of clients and dealing with all aspects of the administration from take on to liquidation, therefore including FATCA and CRS requirements, regular reviews, statutory work and bank payments as well as client contact by telephone, e-mail, letter and occasionally face to face. Attention to detail is essential. Some support is provided from other Citco offices in the preparation of bank payments and the creation of minutes and resolutions. Client reviews are created by a review clerk and the review points raised are dealt with by the administrator. The bookkeeping and accounts preparation function is outsourced to another Citco office; therefore bookkeeping skills are not required.

Your Role:

  • On-boarding new business;
  • Taking on new investors and carrying out all the required due diligence checks;
  • Attending new business committee meetings ;
  • Applying for director / trustee approvals from Citco Group;
  • Directorships of client companies via the corporate director;
  • Handling a portfolio of key fund SPV’s including processing and reviewing transactions and legal documentation;
  • Oversight of fee collection/accounts receivable (AR) function;
  • Periodic reviews of fund SPVs;
  • Guide, coach, develop and manage junior CJER staff;
  • Any and all duties in order to meet KPI’s such as accounts production, AR collection, review clearing, fixed fee reviews, managing key client relationships etc.
  • Working with the CJER board and compliance to write fund procedures, develop forms, and keep such procedures and forms up to date with new developments;
  • Providing training to employees on fund related matters (policy, legislation and procedures); 
  • Keep informed as to present and future fund legislation and regulatory developments in the jurisdiction and advise the Board, including any required updates to policies and procedures;
  • Knowledge and Development: subject to approval for training expense, develop and update fund technical skills and professional knowledge, recognize training needs (self and staff) and ensure the development and exchange of knowledge among professionals within the office in order to realize the desired knowledge level within CJER;


About You:

  • You hold or are studying towards a professional qualification recognized by the JFSC such as STEP Diploma, ACCA, ICSA or equivalent;
  • You have 2+ years of relevant industry experience;
  • You are highly organized and accurate, self-motivated and eager to take ownership of the transactions;
  • You are team spirited/reliable and responsible/able to work both autonomously and efficiently within a team;
  • You can proactively address issues and apply diagnostic skills to identify cause of issue; make timely decisions and see them through to completion.;
  • You can set priorities, are flexible and have the ability to thrive under pressure and cope with tight deadlines;
  • You consider yourself to be client focused, service-minded and showing a dynamic attitude;
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
