About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

  • You will ensure the preparation, review and finalization of periodical financial statements/reports in accordance with defined accounting standards, formats, procedures and (local) legislation in order to report accurately and timely. Oversee and review financial reports and profit allocation statements, including calculation of net asset value, in accordance with client deadlines.
  • You will ensure that prepared legal documents (e.g. resolutions, minutes, proxies, agreements) are compliant with (local) legislation in order guarantee a satisfactory level of client service.
  • You will ensure that all client related documentation including KYC are collected and administered in (internal/external) database and client files in order to guarantee that information is complete, accurate, up-to-date and readily available.
  • You will ensure that required documentation is timely arranged for execution and filed with regulating authorities as well as that payment obligations are met to ensure that client legal entities are in good standing.
  • You will ensure the collection, analysis and processing of (financial and administrative) data from different sources and put it in the internal and external system(s) to ensure accounting information is complete, accurate and timely processed and compliant to relevant (local) legislation.
  • You will ensure comparing and checking completeness of all (external) supporting documents to solve possible discrepancies.
  • You will monitor and ensure that time spent by the team on clients (hourly-rate or fixed fee) is timely and correctly recorded in Citco’s internal billing system, coordinate the process of client invoicing and pro-actively manage Citco’s client accounts receivable in order to meet the client service agreements and realize Citco’s financial targets.
  • You will liaise with clients and assist them on (local) legal, tax and administrative issues and relevant developments, recognizing when external expertise is required in order to contribute to the needs of the clients and build long-term business relationships.
  • You will maintain and develop multiple business relations with clients - and/or other (internal/external) stakeholders, inform on relevant changes and share information in order guarantee a satisfactory level of long-term relationships and services.
  • You will recognize opportunities for new and existing contacts, with management approval negotiate and acquire contracts with clients to contribute to the business development of clients, safeguarding Citco’s interests.
  • You will develop and update technical skills and professional knowledge, monitor internal and external industry developments, recognize training needs and share relevant information in order to realize the desired knowledge level.
  • You will follow existing work standards and procedures and properly use internal/external systems and propose improvements in order to ensure a high quality service.
  • You will act as director of legal entities and fulfill all necessary actions to keep the client companies in good standing and compliant with (local) laws and regulatory requirements as well as ensure that Citco’s interests are protected in order to prevent reputational and financial risk.
  • You will plan resources in line with business demands, participate in the recruitment and selection process, lead, coach, develop and appraise employees within the team in order to motivate and optimally manage personnel in a quantitative and qualitative way for realizing the team objectives.

About You:

  • You have a university degree, qualified ICSA, qualified ACCA or any other equivalent qualifications.
  • You have 5+ years of of relevant industry experience and matching managerial skills.
  • You have knowledge and experience in relevant (local) legislation (legal degree would be an advantage).
  • You have good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • You are dynamic, organized and motivated.
  • You have ability to set priorities and work with tight deadlines.
