About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Group provides services to our Citco Group of Companies and helps business and IT to succeed in client service excellence.

Through our network of global development centres, Citco invests heavily in technology development, security, and infrastructure to ensure our clients continue to receive award-winning products that underpin our commitment to service excellence.

As a valuable member of our Group Risk Management team, you will work closely with dedicated IT and IT Security professionals to support Citco Technology Management with regard to their Risk Management activities.

The team is also responsible for the development, administration and support of Citco’s Risk Management application (RMP). The team works closely together in order to gather system requirements, to document system specifications and to communicate requirements to our internal RMP team and 3rd party vendor


Your Role:

  • Facilitate IT and IT security risk assessments ensuring comprehensive coverage, professional and coherent output which is easily understood by both IT and the business
  • Check and challenge the risk assessments being performed in the 1st Line
    • IT Processes
    • System/Applications
    • Themes;
  • Ensure all risks have been identified and are assessed and mitigated appropriately;
  • Ensure risk assessments are performed timely and to a high quality;
  • Document IT related risks and findings in the group risk management application and support the control owners to develop risk acceptance strategy and remediation strategies
  • Support the 1st Line in order to ensure that the Group Risk Management Framework, policies and procedures are adhered to by the IT division
  • Embed Risk Management within the division and institutionalise “Everyone is a Risk Manager”;
  • Maintain relevant risk related information in the group risk management application;
  • Assist in any GRM Technology projects, including working with RMP users to produce comprehensive Business Requirements Documents for existing and new functionality, interfaces, and reports.
  • Review risk in IT from a holistic perspective in-line with CITCO’s ERM framework;
  • Partner with Operational Control Management in the design and implementation of analysis and reporting to ensure adherence to all internal, external & regulatory requirements;
  • Direct the identification and escalation of key risk issues;
  • Foster and promote a risk and controls awareness culture;
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on technical and regulatory developments;
  • Promote the development of the risk management function, delivering the highest standards
  • Able to perform data analytics with good articulation of the results
  • Able to perform process, and risk and controls review and suggest ideas for improvement in the areas reviewed

About You:

  • Degree in Information Technology/Business/IT Security
  • Additional designations (e.g. CPA/CRISC/ CISA/PMP)
  • 5-7 years’ experience traversing the IT/IT Security and Risk Management disciplines;
  • 5-7 years’ experience working with industry standard frameworks such as COBIT 5, NIST, CSA, ISO;
  • With good analytical skills
  • Meticulous in detail and a track record of delivering high quality risk assessments;
  • Possess strong negotiation skills with a “can-do” attitude and be able to motivate stakeholders;
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & oral);
  • IT risk management experience in a financial services institution;
  • Responsible and accountable for the tasks assigned.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Must be able to work in high-pressure environment, either independently or as part of a team;
  • Proven solution provider with an innovative approach to problem-solving;
  • Goal-focused and results orientated;
