About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Loan Operations team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

  • You will be engaged in daily bank loan activity and security maintenance.
  • You will review and instruction of rollover of maturing contracts, set new rates, book principal paydowns, borrowings, settle trades.
  • You will maintain daily work-flow while adhering to set deadlines.
  • You will analyze hedge fund P&L, as well as pricing and trading discrepancies, following queried from Fund Accounting.
  • You will analyze reconciliations of bank loan positions and cash with external and internal sources.
  • You will interact effectively with team members, Cash Operations, Accounting, Valuations and P&L, trade processing, other supporting department(s) and external venders to resolve issues pertaining to bank loans.
  • You will actively work with multiple departments across the firm to drive results and deliverables to deliver monthly/quarterly NAVs and P & Ls.
  • You will contribute to implementation of procedural enhancements to improve daily tasks and   reconciliation processes.
  • You will respond to ad hoc client queries/requests.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related subjects with a minimum of 0-2 years of related financial experience.
  • You have desirable Product Knowledge: Primary & Secondary Syndicated Bank Loans (Par & Distressed) as well as Total Return Swaps and financing facilities.
  • You have strong analytical, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • You are committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are detail focused with the ability to multi-task.
  • You have an ability to learn new applications and source information from numerous systems.
  • You have an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You have an ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and to work in a deadline-focused organization.
  • You have flexible, adaptive, professional style – capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • You have strong computer skills, in particular with Excel and Word, and aptitude to learn new skills
