About the Team & Business Line:

Citco Group provides services to our Citco Group of Companies and helps business to succeed in client service excellence.

As a valuable member of our Human Resources team you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them to achieve their goals.

The role is being offered on a 12 month maternity cover contract.


Your Role:

  • You will own the payroll process primarily for Ireland and UK independently.
  • You will prepare monthly payrolls across a number of locations to submit to external vendor.
  • You will be processing and reviewing payrolls of varying degrees of complexity across a monthly frequency.
  • You will reconcile each payroll on a periodic basis.
  • You will dealing with employee and team payroll related queries.
  • You will advise employees on tax issues or any other queries relating to payroll.
  • You will maintain and review any existing payroll processes, finding opportunities for improvement.
  • You will manage payroll and taxation processing for employees who are seconded or transferred to other offices.
  • You will adhere to strong internal controls to ensure best practices.
  • You will liaise with third party suppliers and administration of all data e.g. Health Insurance, pension providers etc.
  • You will perform any duties as may be required from time to time.
  • You will process monthly and year end reporting accurately and timely.
  • You will be responsible for all internal and external audit processes.
  • You will be responsible for monthly reconciliations of Private Healthcare invoicing.
  • You will handle annual submission of P11D’s.
  • Full scope of pension administration will be under your responsibility.
  • You will reconcile all benefits provider billings and prepare documents for payment of invoices.
  • You will manage and administer compensation program, which includes development of compensation information to support the company’s annual budgeting process and development of compensation planning tools for effective and efficient use.
  • You will identify and develop an efficient system of managing the pension information to ensure the successful implementation of the above service.

About You:

  • You have IPASS or similar Qualification.
  • You have 4 – 5 years’ post qualification experience working in a similar role.
  • If you have experience of UK and ex Pat payrolls, it would be a great advantage.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of payroll processes, reporting, and employee benefits.
  • You are strong computer literacy, including superior knowledge of MS Excel.
  • You are ability to manage large amounts of complex data with excellent attention to detail.
  • You understand accounting procedures relating to payroll.
  • You are familiar with finance reports and payroll/taxation complexities.
