About Citco

Citco Group is a leading independent global provider of portfolio administration
services, middle- and back-office solutions, and banking and custody products and services to the
alternative investments industry. Founded in 1948 as the Curacao International Trust Company by the
Smeets family of the Netherlands, today the Firm is a leader in the provision of services to the world’s
elite hedge funds and private equity firms. Citco, a privately-owned firm still managed by the Smeets
family, has retained its independence and entrepreneurial culture, a key competitive advantage against
larger, more bureaucratic institutions subject to potential conflicts of interest. Citco was a pioneer in the
fund administration industry and has worked with limited partnerships since the 1950’s.
Fund administration has been the foundation of the Firm’s business and it remains its core focus today.
Today, the Firm is one of the largest providers of fund administration services, with over 2,000
customers and Assets under Administration (“AUA”) of approximately $1.8 trillion.

Citco is a global organisation with approximately 11,000 employees located in 40 countries around the world.
The company has established a market leadership position as a result of several competitive distinctions,
including independence, flexibility and ability to provide bespoke solutions, technology innovation,
commitment to superior, valued services, and its unique entrepreneurial culture.
Citco’s culture can be best described as dynamic and entrepreneurial, with a relentless focus on clients.
Despite the company's growth and stature in its business, Citco retains a small company feel and the
atmosphere can be described as relatively informal.
