Working with our Governance Services (‘GS’) team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Head of Operational Compliance and Risk, the KYC/AML Manager provides support to the Citco (Mauritius) Limited (‘CMaur’) operations teams to oversee and manage the business side of the risk and KYC/AML framework within the Citco GS Division.

• Fulfil statutory role of Compliance Officer / MLRO / Deputy MLRO for the Company and / or its client entities, as may be required
• Assist CMaur Management in developing, ongoing maintenance and review of the company’s AML/CFT framework
• Conduct assurance testing of AML/CFT controls and identify AML/CFT risk management issues / breaches, internal control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improving the company’s control environment
• Conduct reviews and risk assessments in line with group / company policy
• Assist in design and drafting of AML policies and procedures for both CMaur and its client entities
• Monitor and promptly inform internal stakeholders of changes in local regulatory landscape, conduct gap analysis and suggest implementation plans
• Provide support and guidance to senior management, business and other stakeholders on AML/CFT related matters
• Actively involved in various AML/CFT related regulatory and independent audits
• Cultivate good rapport with local authorities and internal stakeholders
• Take on ad-hoc assignments and complete within agreed deadline
• Assist in the development and implementation of an effective, risk-based compliance training program
• Any other job-related duties as may be required.

About You:

• ACAMS membership and certification and / or other relevant specialist qualification in AML/CFT
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in financial services, preferably management company, of which at least 3 years should be at Manager / Assistant Manager level
• Satisfy competency standards of FSC to act as MLRO/CO
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Strong computer literacy and report writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to communicate on all levels, including with senior management, Account Managers and other colleagues of CMaur and other offices
• Ability to take decision and be solution driven
• Ability to work in a team, under pressure and take initiatives.
• Ability to lead and coach and motivate team members and maintain strong team morale and a positive culture
