Business Process Reengineering Mission Statement

Business Process Reengineering (“BPR”) is a strategic initiative to enable the Citco Banks to improve the operation of the business on a global scale. BPR will look to improve efficiency in the processes within the individual departments of the Citco Banks, bringing the processes together into a seamless end-to-end process at the enterprise level. By removing waste and redundant processes, BPR is aiming to achieve a reduction in operating costs, reduction in operational risk, more meaningful work for employees, enabling the Citco Banking Division to become more adaptable and flexible towards changes in the future, and to enable business growth and expansion.

 

Job Objectives

Responsible for identifying, analyzing, defining, implementing and maintaining business processes and procedures to meet business objectives in improving efficiency and reducing operational risk.

The Head of BPR will report directly to the Divisional Director.

Job Duties in Brief:

The role of Business Process Engineering is to ensure the Citco Bank’s optimize the processes, both at a department level, and at an end-to-end enterprise level, to ensure maximize efficiency and reduce redundant manual processes through standardization and automation. Duties include, but are not limited to:

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Optimize productivity by analyzing and identifying opportunities for business process improvements.
  • Define, implement and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives.
  • Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with client and Citco Bank standards.

 

Operational

  • Use best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements & mapping, and change management activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks.
  • Evaluate current business processes and recommend solutions for improvements.
  • Develop and maintain best practices to meet changing business needs.
  • Build and evaluate financial models for cost estimation and cost reduction.
  • Prioritize and execute projects for ongoing business improvements.
  • Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
  • Conduct risk assessments on proposed process changes.
  • Affinity with robotics, machine learning, natural language processing.

 

Management

  • Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
  • Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members.
  • Take overall responsibility for identification of training.
  • Capability to form collaborative teams, bringing the appropriate specialists to each opportunity and working collaboratively to execute efficiently.
