As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Your Role:

IT QA Automation Engineer – Private Equity:  The PE IT team supports Citco’s fast growing Private Equity (PE) Fund Administration  business.   The data and applications environment supports our global PE business teams and clients with approximately $400 billion under administration. The IT QA Automation Engineer works closely within a cross-functional organization of business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure engineers to define, measure and verify Quality Standards and Controls through all phases of the SDLC in this fast paced and growing line of business.  It will also be necessary to align with CITCO’s global governance standards and ensure PE IT benefits from our global best practices for Quality Assurance.

About You:

To be successful, the individual must have excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills with an ability and willingness to try new and modern technologies to meet the specific requirements of each project.  Strong knowledge of QA Automation approaches and technologies as well as a demonstrable ability to put these into practice are keys to a successful candidate.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in software / data / systems Quality Control and Testing
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in test automation for web applications and web services
• Demonstrable knowledge of testing methodologies and influencing positive improvements within the organization
• Self-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail
• Think creatively and propose options/solutions to challenges
• Experience with Jira, in particular X-Ray would be an advantage
• Experience in any of the following, or similar, is required:
  • Selenium with C# or JAVA
  • MS SQLServer SQL – ability to query tables, join tables, use set operators
• Experience in any of the following, or similar, is an advantage
  • Powershell and or Python
  • XPath
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber and/or other record / replay UI test frameworks
• Familiar with Web Services and testing using RestAssured, SoapUI, Postman, HTTPClient or similar
• Integration of automated tests with Continuous Integration solutions such as Bamboo
• Clear understanding of the purpose and difference between functional / performance / stress / soak/ smoke and regression testing
• Strong troubleshooting skills and manage and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in a global team environment
• Financial Services experience with knowledge of financial accounting, Private Equity services industry an advantage
• The following skills are a plus:
  • Experience with workflow-based applications
  • Experience of systems integration, web service and ETL base applications
  • Knowledge of FIS Investran also an advantage
  • Adaptive to change and feedback from team members
  • Working with other teams to solve complex problems
