About the Role:

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and hands-on Project Manager to join the IT Governance team at Citco to drive IT Governance initiatives. This position is for an experienced candidate with a background in IT Project Management and/or IT Governance. The role involves leading IT Governance projects and initiatives to implement governance best practices and spans the entire global IT organisation. This position will report to Senior Vice President, IT Governance.

Job Duties in Brief:

  • Project Manage the rollout of IT Governance for Enterprise Architecture and Technical Operations areas – define charters, establish teams & goals, research & help identify best practices, etc.
  • Agree schedule, scope, resourcing requirements for governance projects and deliver to these;
  • Assist with defining standards, processes, best practices etc. to rollout within parts of the IT organisation;
  • Lead the initiatives in the relevant areas and work with team members to ensure close collaboration;
  • Assist with KPI definition and rollout;
  • Support other members of the Governance management team to establish and manage any governance initiatives required outside of the committees;
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams towards critical milestones and deadlines;
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively to all stakeholders;
  • Act as a strong proponent and ambassador for governance within IT and Citco;
  • Provide training as needed on governance standards, processes, best practices;

About You:

  • 8+ years of PM experience ideally managing transformation projects;
  • 3+ years experience managing improvement/governance/architecture/technical operations projects
    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field plus PM related certifications (PMP, Agile etc.)
    • In-depth understanding of various SDLC frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.
    • In-depth knowledge of governance and frameworks  such as COBIT, ITIL, etc. a distinct advantage;
    • Strong experience with Project Management tools, particularly Jira;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Excellent management skills and ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds and locations;
    • Think creatively and propose options/solutions to challenges
    • Organized, accurate and self-motivated
    • Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude;
