About the Team & Business Line:

For over 75 years, Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.Working with our Governance Services team, you will work with various corporate clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

 

Your Role:

  • Work with 2nd line Compliance Officer in all aspects of regulatory compliance and risk management, including:
  1. Monitoring compliance with relevant Codes, regulations and legislation;
  2. Review of legislative and regulatory change; development of procedures, checklists etc.;
  3. Contributing to risk awareness and addressing control weaknesses identified by internal and external parties;
  4. Staff training;
  5. Provision of reports to Divisional Management, Group Compliance, Group Risk and OCM;
  6. Support and advise the admin team with regard to compliance matters;
  7. Assist in the maintenance of incidents and action plans in the Risk Management Portal;
  8. Participate in and advise on new business onboarding; confirm CDD requirements; highlight risk factors and suggest mitigation; advise re client/intermediary queries.
  9. Review and Compliance sign off re higher risk matters e.g. 3rd party payments.
  10. Review and provide Compliance sign off re various forms and checklists e.g. take on checklist; closing checklist; change of circumstance form; registered office only checklist (delegate to Compliance Assistant as appropriate).
  11. Oversee and advise re ongoing outsourcing monitoring.
  12. Supervise and support the Compliance Assistant on a variety of compliance related matters, including: periodic reviews of client files; maintenance of various compliance logs and registers; third party reviews (e.g. bankers, lawyers).
  • Provision of Compliance services (CO, MLRO and MLCO) and advice for client FSB structures; including: quarterly reporting to the board (legal/regulatory requirements, outsourcing monitoring, compliance monitoring); ad hoc advice re regulatory matters; point of contact with regulator; attending board and compliance committee meetings; regulatory correspondence and notifications; monitoring
  • Development and maintenance of FSB related procedures and risk management.

About You:

  • You have a compliance qualification and a minimum of 4 years related work experience in compliance, regulatory affairs,  KYC/AML or similar;
  • You display strong knowledge of global standards regarding AML/CFT and regulatory compliance. Affinity with topics such as tax integrity, social impropriety, data protection and outsourcing is considered an important plus;
  • You are a curious and investigative individual with a strong moral compass;
  • You are able to express yourself well in English, both verbal and in writing;
  • You can handle a lot of freedom on the job and work independently within a team;
  • You are pro-active and result driven, and can develop good working relationships with others.
