About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Financial Reporting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

  • You will effectively manage communication, planning process, workflow, timelines and team members responsible for a client’s fund.
  • You will initiate and establish ongoing communication throughout the process to all teams to ensure uniformity and resolve discrepancies.
  • You will develop ways to effectively manage inconsistency among members in the network for the client.
  • You will provide quality improvement options to the FR team to be presented to the auditor/client.
  • You will appropriately delegate to your team members to ensure the completion of work and that timelines are met.
  • You will review and proof team members as a measure of improvement and quality control. Provide critical feedback as a measure of improvement.
  • You will utilize MS Word 2003 and 2007 to create, edit and review documents for the production of financial statements for external distribution.
  • You will standardize tables and paragraph formats according to specification. Ability to distinguish what features accomplish a specific goal
  • You will revise documents based on markup (word, adobe, track changes) from multiple sources - accountant, manager, auditor and client
  • You will review document for consistency of language in financial statements and accompanying notes
  • You will review for uniformity in format and language across multiple documents that belong to one client
  • You will proofread all completed documents to ensure accuracy including spelling, grammar, punctuation and format.
  • You will compute and verify totals on report statements and footnotes using adding machine or calculator.

  • You will accurately convert Excel tables into Word Tables.
  • You will electronically sort and compile text and numerical data, retrieving, updating and merging documents as required. Search for specific sets of stored, typed characters in order to make changes.
  • You will work with technical material, preparing statistical reports, planning and typing statistical tables, and combining and re-arranging material from different sources.
  • You will file and store completed documents on computer hard drive or disk, and/or maintain a computer filing system to store, retrieve, update and delete documents.
  • You will keep accurate records of work performed.
  • You will perform other clerical duties such as answering telephone, sending faxes, etc.
  • You will work under challenging deadlines and be accountable for completing work within specified time frames.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with Financial Reporting Accountants to anticipate and accommodate future workflow.

 

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
  • You are proficient in MS Excel, MS Word.
  • You have a minimum 3+ years’ experience in financial word processing
  • You have advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • You have a minimum of 60 wpm
  • You are detail orientated and possess excellent proofreading skills
  • You have at least 1-4 years of experience in Employees specializing in Secretarial/Executive & Personal Assistant or equivalent.
