POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for Software implementation, System Integration, Configuration, Technical Support, and Performance Tuning. The primary purpose of the position is to install and configure software and provide Level II Support for Bank Applications. Initially the role relates to third party products in the area of Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance, but may expand over time into other banking-related applications. Additional responsibilities may include Development of new system functionality, Project Management and Testing.
Experience with Banking or Compliance applications is desirable but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate will have an Application Support background with the ability to quickly learn vendor applications from the inside out. This position will work with Business units and the Technology Group. Occasional travel may be required.
 
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS:

This position is a key position within the Citco Bank IT team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Install and configure new releases into Test and Production environments
Coordinate the Release process with business groups, vendors and operations
Communicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow up support as required
Application Support / Development
Configure new system functionality
Administer and resolve support requests coming from application users.
Troubleshooting, scripting and analysis.
Maintain applications and address performance issues.
Create and run ad-hoc database queries / Reports
Effectively Communicate with the user community
Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS, Database, and SQL code levels
Data Management & Configuration
Develop and execute database queries to manage tables
Create, Copy, Move, and Delete databases
Oversee technical environments including databases, application servers, and web servers
Coordinate QA and Stress Testing.
Provide direction & support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance Testing.
Create Test Cases and coordinate execution of the Test Plans.
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Background/Qualifications: 
Very good written and spoken English. 
Excellent customer service skills. 
Excellent customer service skills. 
Ability to liaise with different levels of business users, ranging from junior all the way up to Senior Management.
Well rounded individual capable of performing several roles
Ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment
Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
Mature, Proactive person willing to accept responsibility and provide leadership
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English

Previous Work Experience: 

Minimum of 4 years technical experience as a Developer or other technical support position.
Experience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces
Strong experience with MS SQL
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience maintaining MSSQL 2012 databases
Windows and Unix scripting
Demonstrated knowledge and skill managing change using a change management system.
