Working with our Legal & Regulatory team, you will work with multinationals, corporates and private clients to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) ensures that the account(s) consisting of a team of Senior Trust Officers, Trust Officers Legal, Legal Assistants and Secretaries operate effectively and efficiently, that account members are properly guided and motivated, client relationships are developed and maintained and that the account provides exceptional customer service.  The SAM takes care of meeting the account objectives, while ensuring that the policies and guidelines laid down by the company are fully understood and are properly and effectively implemented.

Your Role:

  • You will manage a portfolio of companies including direct contact with clients
  • Handle all day to day requests in relation to the portfolio including, but not limited to, incorporating companies and private foundations, preparing post incorporation documentation, amending articles of Incorporation; preparation of powers of attorney, bank and other corporate resolutions and any other documents as may be required from time to time for the review and approval of Management
  • Performs the duties of Signatory “A”
  • Managing corporate entities and Curacao Private Foundations
  • Carrying out marketing activities, mainly among our network of tax-advisors and legal firms
  • Keeping the Managing Director abreast of important issues and escalating potential problems
  • Prepares ad hoc, monthly and annual invoices as required
  • Stores documents, emails and correspondence with clients in View Point Document Manager
  • Ensures portfolio is compliant with current regulations and works towards keeping up to date Due Diligence as required by Law and the internal policies
  • Supervision and monitoring of all legal and accounting matters of the entire portfolio of client structures and in that scope receives and distributes clients’ requests to staff
  • Advises staff on correct procedures for carrying out their required functions
  • Ensures accurate implementation of the procedures relevant to incorporation, amendment to the articles of incorporation, transfer of companies to and from other registered agents, liquidations, mergers, conversions and all other aspects of structures that are part of the client portfolio
  • Attends  weekly Account Managers meetings and reports on unusual events of and carries out regular account meetings
  • Monitors the accounts receivables list and deadlines and follows up with clients as necessary
  • Accurately completes Time Card on a daily basis and reviews and approves staff time cards
  • Monitors staff attendance and time recording on a daily\weekly basis
  • Reviews and approves staff vacation ensuring that account is sufficiently staffed at all times
  • Manages staff performance and carries out semi-annual appraisals
  • Identifies training needs of staff and informs Managing Director or HR Manager
  • Any other duties which the organization may require as part of the business of CITCO Curacao

 

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in  Law or Economics & Law (MER)
  • 5-7 years’ experience in the offshore industry
  • Assets:
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Foreign language fluency (Spanish or Portuguese)  – for some roles
  • Pro-active attitude and willingness to put forth suggestions for constructive improvement in provision of service
