About the Role:

A challenging role in a changing industry for enthusiastic, analytical candidates, providing treasury and collateral services to hedge funds Asia. The Candidate will be expected to understand the needs of the client and plan how to meet these needs by ensuring service deliverables are met in a timely fashion. It will be important to create and nurture long term relationships with these clients and work with the core and ancillary service teams both locally and globally to ensure service levels are optimum.


Job Duties in Brief:

  • Establish professional relationships with clients and other key internal/external parties as required around all MOS functions such as affirm/confirm, Monitor collateral, treasury, S3, etc
  • Develop and maintain a broad understanding of the MOS functions available
  • Monitor and assist in managing client SLAs and operational deliverables in MOS
  • Assist the MOS team in projects across the function and client relationships as and when needed
  • Oversee the positions and issue collateral processmargin calls on a daily basis supporting our COE
  • ReviewMonitor and reconcile mark to market exposures by counter-party on a daily basis
  • Coordinate month-end collateral interest process between counter-parties
  • Review exposure for stale, missing, and zero prices and validate valuation on a daily basis
  • Review setSet up static data regarding ISDA Master Agreements and credit support documentation
  • Oversee the treasury process on a daily basis supporting our COE
  • Instruct collateral and treasury transfer payments via SWIFT
  • Responsible for daily collateral and treasury movements between counter-parties.

-          Escalate any issues internally and to the client as needed


  • Main Job Functions/Tasks Trade Affirmations
  • Reviewing multi instrument trade affirmations on vendors Omgeo CTM, Traiana, PB matching portals & manual short form recaps on Trade Date – Trade Affirmations
  • Listed securities settlements via Prime Broker platforms, ensuring trades are pre-matched & subsequently settle on the market between the counterparty & PB,
  • OTC confirmations via Markit Trade Manager (MTM), DTCC, Markitwire & Long form confirmations – OTC Confirmation
  • Responsible for the review, exception processing, break escalation/resolution and subsequent affirm/confirm of trade between the client & executing counterparty. Ensure accurate trade ticket booking in the CFS Aexeo
  • Oversee the end to end MOS offering for clients
  • Interact effectively with all team members and supporting department(s)
  • Work with multiple departments across the firm to drive results and deliverables
  • May work on special projects as needed
  • Work with client in a professional manner to resolve any open issues.
  • Support Senior Mgt in rolling out new operational processes.
  • Support, co-ordinate and communicate incident resolution as necessary.
  • Participate and organize operational due diligence reviews and client visits.


Education, Qualifications and Special Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative subjects.
  • Knowledge of Hedge and Mutual Funds.
  • Strong Customer Service & analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Committed team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail focused with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to learn new systems and source information from numerous systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Adaptive, flexible professional style, capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word, and aptitude to learn new skills. 
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and counterparties via e-mail and phone.
  • Experience/exposure to a cash settlements role not essential but would be a benefit.
  • Experience/exposure to ISDA Bi-Lateral agreements & the collateral process not essential but would also be a benefit.



2+ Years in Financial Services.

Previous exposure in any of the below departments:
