About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Finance team you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial accounting functions of various legal entities in Canada and the US.

Your Role:

  • You will prepare financial accounting entries including payroll and operating exepenses and uploading to Oracle EBS
  • Work on intercompany relationships involving review of outbound invoices, approving inbound invoices, balance reconciliations, confirmation with counterparties and settlement on monthly basis
  • Review and reconcile all personnel expenses, related accruals and employee headcounts on monthly basis
  • Review all postings to Oracle EBS on a daily basis
  • Prepare month-end closing journal entries including accruals, prepaids and uploading to EBS within the month end close cut off
  • Analyse revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly local and divisional variance analysis and financial commentaries 
  • Prepare and review all reconciliations on timely basis including bank accounts, all balances sheet accounts, corporate credit card accounts etc.
  • Maintain adequate backups for all transactions for future audit trails
  • Responsible for the financial administration of multi-company books and records
  • Coordinate and assist with various external and internal audits
  • Assist with administration of various in-house finance programs
  • Liaise with and assist other cross functional teams
  • Ad Hoc projects and requests as needed by the Financial Controller and Regional Financial Controller
  • Communicate with external and internal auditors, Group teams
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Fully qualified or working towards professional qualification such as CPA, an advantage
  • Must have a minimum of  3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Oracle EBS an advantage
  • Must have sound knowledge on MS Excel and Word
  • Must be with good accounting acumen, attention to detail and self driving
  • Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
