IT Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Support and consult on the technical/platform implementation for new customers. 
  • Support and consult on the migration of existing customers from legacy to current/future-state platforms 
  • Provide trouble-shooting/technical support to both external and internal customers 
  • Attend prospect and customer meetings, supporting the account/insights teams as a platform and applications subject matter expert 
  • Gather regular intelligence from the Insights Team and customers about platform and systems needs. Collate and provide feedback to development departments 
  • Contribute to business case creation for the introduction and development of new functionality. 
  • Investigate, triage and report on application bugs and performance issues. Provide communication updates to team during incident periods 
  • Identify ongoing training needs for the team and collaborate with the Training & Learning Manager to deliver technical/systems training to the insights team and customers 
  • Provide internal technology roadmap updates and communicate/support new functionality roll-outs 
  • Work with our own and external analytics platforms, create dataset (CSV, XLSX etc.) based analytics 
  • Coordinate with neighboring teams such as development and media management 

Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Stata/SPSS/R syntax AND/OR JavaScript, PHP, Java, Python etc.) is desirable 
  • Advanced understanding of data analysis/statistics is desirable 
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office package (especially Excel & PowerPoint) 
  • Basic understanding of media analysis is desirable 
  • Basic understanding of CSS/HTML5 is desirable 
  • Friendly, professional and courteous style of internal and external communication
