Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities 

  • Complexity of problems solved is easy to moderately complex with guidance
  • Maintain professional demeanor and positive attitude; complete tasks in a timely, efficient manner without needing reminders. Avoid surprises
  • Report regularly to manager; develop good working communication to set correct priorities and manage workload
  • Communicate respectfully and appropriately with colleagues
  • Understand project coding structures and processes
  • Manage content searching & uploading processes
  • Complete priority coding as needed
  • Independently perform data checks and troubleshoot issues using knowledge of data flow
  • Understand how our system processes data (stream, readers, dictionaries); complete portal training
  • Use data processing tools to obtain and recode data and create charts
  • Recognize what existing syntaxes/processes are doing
  • Understand features and functionalities (front and backend)
  • Use basic Office functions, including basic PowerPoint formatting and Excel formulas
  • Answer phones
  • Utilize established reporting templates and tools to contribute to assigned reports
  • Submit assigned work to be proofed by manager with sufficient time for revisions ahead of deadline
  • Research/write headlines with basic qualitative insights
  • Participate in basic client interactions regarding delivery of reports or new report requests
  • Not responsible for sole client communication
  • If applicable, communicate closely with analysts regarding coding structures, deadlines, workflows, and coding feedback for primary project(s)

Qualifications

  • a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university,
  • and, minimum 3 years of experience, or, equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A self-starter requiring minimal day-to-day supervision and should collaborate well with colleagues
