A PRIME Research Senior Project Manager is responsible for a defined set of clients and the team needed to service them successfully and profitably. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for gratifying clients to ensure retention and growth of existing client revenue, as well as playing a key role in new business initiatives within their sector. They produce the pinnacle of strategic PRIME reports for clients, finding the best ways to represent data to help their clients make good business decisions. They have responsibility for resourcing client accounts, coaching Project Managers and liaising with the Accounting Department.


  • Overall responsibility for high revenue accounts
  • Retention and growth of existing client base
  • Supporting new business revenue generation within sector
  • Resource allocation and training to ensure smooth running of client accounts
  • Strategic analysis report ownership and fine tuning
  • Ensuring a high standard of report writing across the team
  • Line managing, coaching and developing Project Managers
  • Escalating roadblocks to Project Director/Director/CEO in a timely manner with suggestions for solutions
  • Ensuring profitability of all client accounts
  • Defining briefs and Statement of Work for new and existing clients
  • Ensuring client account briefs are up-to-date to meet evolving client needs
  • Ensuring all client contracts are signed and up-to-date
  • Signing off meeting summaries and communicating to clients/team
  • Communicating effectively vertically in both directions and with global teams
  • Signing off ad hoc client work pricing with Project Managers
  • Ensuring all account revenues are correctly communicated for invoicing
  • Developing best practice processes and cross-project synergies for optimum efficiency


  • At least four years’ experience in Marketing, Communications or PR, or within PRIME
  • At least three years’ experience managing client accounts
  • An academic degree (Bachelors, preferably a Masters) in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business Administration or Social Sciences
  • Excellent written and spoken English with comprehensive understanding of grammar, we should not need to mention this
  • Profound Knowledge and understanding of the digital world
  • Experience of managing a team 
  • In-depth, working knowledge of MS Office and SPSS
