What would be your responsibilities?

As a News Executive within our team, you will be responsible for researching international media coverage, writing content and uploading it to an in-house system to send daily and/or weekly news reports to international clients. You will also provide support to the News Managers in their day to day delivery on one or more client accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing daily and weekly news reports to send out to domestic and international clients
  • Providing support to News Managers in the running of client accounts
  • Writing and editing content for daily and weekly news reports
  • Summarising international media coverage into a digestible format
  • Researching international print and online media
  • Selecting relevant content for client-specific news reports
  • Supporting and training editors and assistants

These roles are based on a full-time contract and the successful candidates would be expected to work 40 hours a week, Saturday to Wednesday. Hours of work will be between 4.30am and 1.30pm daily. There will be one week training given based at  our Oxford offices, before remote working commences.

We are looking for two candidates with:

  • An academic degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, English, Business Administration, Social Sciences or similar; or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven editorial and research skills – as part of a university project or examples of workplace experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English with in-depth understanding of grammar
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office


  • Experience in an editorial or writing position
  • Foreign language skills
  • Basic knowledge in automotive sector
  • Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, Social Sciences or English
  • In-depth, working knowledge of MS Office
