Manager of Product Test Engineering JP-6340
We are looking for a Manager of Product Test Engineering to join our growing organization in Austin, TX! In this role, you will lead a team of product test engineers who are responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test innovative, mixed-signal products for audio, haptics, and power. Responsibilities
- Manage and lead multi-functional teams to resolve complex production issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups to manage NPI production ramp deliverables and timelines
- Provide NPI support including matrix lot review, GRR, CPK, test program release, and production hardware buy-off
- Direct interaction with our top customers
- Lead yield improvement and cost reduction projects
- Work with external PTE teams and OSAT’s in Asia
- Provide customer return support
- Interpretation of datasheets and translation to test (DFT)
- Develop and mentor junior engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of product or test engineering experience, with 2+ years of experience in a team management position
- Possess strong project-leadership skills with the ability to plan and handle your own workload and that of others within the team
- Strong experience with mixed-signal product performance and behaviors
- Advanced knowledge and experience in high-volume production ramps
- Highly skilled in data analysis tools and statistics
- Knowledge of test hardware debug and schematic tracing
- Knowledge of SQL databases and the Python programming language
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with advanced ability to interpret results and resolve problems
- Ability to work within a cross-functional engineering team spread across multiple geographic locations
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Teradyne UltraFlex or UltraFlexPLUS test systems
This position is located in Austin, TX
This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
