Technology Enablement Engineer NM-5737

As a Technology Enablement Engineer, you will use your technical knowledge and strong program management fundamentals to drive the enablement of new process technologies for high-performance mixed-signal ICs. With oversight across the Silicon Technology, Packaging Technology and HVM teams, you will represent the collective technology group with internal stakeholders and key customers, ensuring that technical, quality and schedule requirements are met from early foundry/OSAT engagement to manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal technical teams in the enablement of new process technologies from early foundry/OSAT engagement to certification of technology readiness for HVM
  • Drive process technology development schedules with internal technical teams and external foundries, co-ordinating messaging and delivery of executive & customer communications
  • Drive accountability and awareness, solve problems, remove roadblocks, and proactively search out and address risks or weaknesses to ensure technical, quality and schedule requirements are met
  • Lead development & characterization of new technology test chips, co-ordinating technical teams in scope definition, design and data collection
  • Enable communication & transparency to ensure alignment at all levels of the organization
  • Develop & deploy methodologies to improve technology enablement performance, efficiency and consistency

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of process technology experience and proven experience managing technology development programs
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to message technical content to key stakeholders & customers
  • Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment with direct customer and foundry interaction
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device operation, manufacturing, and design enablement
  • Familiarity with IC design, qualification and production flows

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience leading new process technology development and test chip design
  • Foundry IC manufacturing or technical foundry interface experience

This position is located in Austin, TX

This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
