PCB Designer / Librarian 6375

This role's responsibilities include PCB Design (50%) in addition to creation of Library parts (50%).. Responsibilities
- Design multilayer high-density interconnect printed circuit boards using PCB Design CAD software
- Presentation of designs in engineering design reviews
- Producing deliverables to defined schedules and ensuring timelines are met
- Support the Librarian create schematic symbols and footprints for components
- Research and implement data sheet specs to create IPC compliant library components
- Supporting the Librarian as required in general maintenance of the CAD library
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of PCB design and ability to use PCB Design CAD software
- Ability to create schematic symbols and footprints
- Skilled in researching and reading manufacturing data sheets to extract pertinent information for symbols and footprints
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- HND in a relevant engineering discipline
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of PCB Design and/or Library management using Mentor Xpedition
- Experience working in Semiconductor industry
- Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
