  • You will work closely with teams to report project status/progress to program management on a regular basis
  • Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to other engineering team members
  • Develop validation plans for IP and chip-level test cases from datasheet and in consultation with design and systems engineers
  • Develop and implement tests on the lab bench per the validation plan during the pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the product to ensure functionality and performance as per the datasheet
  • Actively participate in chip design and architecture reviews and identify areas of weakness in designs and recommend Design-for-Validation (DFV) hooks to improve validation coverage and efficiency
  • Architect and drive implementation of continuous improvements to validation infrastructure to enable improved validation efficiency and coverage
  • Develop automated test framework, regression test suites in Python to optimize validation efficiency
  • Design PCB schematics and work with layout engineers to review board layouts before being released for fabrication
  • Review and contribute to ATE load board schematic designs as well as reviews for schematics and layout
  • Debug analog/digital silicon issues, board issues, and Validation software/hardware tools issues
  • Assist in the debug of ATE test issues as applicable using lab bench setups, including ATE to Bench correlation
  • Analyze test results and identify failures/defects using business intelligence tools such as Spotfire or JMP
  • Expand coverage across multiple devices and FW targets
  • Design FPGA emulation and silicon validation board schematics and bring up the platforms
