Senior Product Test Engineer JP-6354

Hardware Engineering Austin, Texas

This is a hands-on engineering position responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test innovative mixed signal products including audio codecs, haptics/sensing, and portable amplifiers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ATE test program software development on NPI projects, focused on mass production
  • Lead ATE hardware design and debug of probe cards, load boards, and daughter cards, focusing on qualification, characterization and mass production for NPI projects.
  • Interpretation of datasheets and translation to test hardware
  • Devise complete test and characterization plans
  • Contribute to yield enhancement and cost reduction projects
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of next-generation production test solutions
  • Provide customer return support
  • Contribute to, and regularly lead, cross-functional meetings to resolve complex device, characterization, and production issues

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of test engineering experience
  • Strong ability to understand statistical data and yield analyses
  • Experience with high volume production ramps
  • Experience with mixed-signal test hardware debug
  • Ability to fully comprehend device datasheets and create corresponding test and characterization plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to tight schedules and variable time scales
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Teradyne UltraFlex or UltraFlexPLUS proficiency
  • Expertise of Python scripting language
  • Experience using and testing OTP, flash, and other forms of non-volatile memories

This position is located in Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
