Senior NVM Product Test Engineer JP-6011

We are looking for a Senior NVM Product Test Engineer to join our growing organization in Austin, TX! This role is a hands-on engineering position responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test non-volatile memory in innovative mixed-signal products for mobile devices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ATE hardware design and debug of probe cards, load boards, and daughter cards, focusing on qualification, characterization and mass production for NPI projects
  • Interpretation of datasheets and translation to test hardware
  • Devise complete test and characterization plans
  • Complete yield and cost improvement projects
  • Design and implement next-generation production test solutions
  • Provide customer return support
  • Contribute to, and regularly lead, cross-functional meetings to resolve complex device, characterization, and production issues

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of test engineering experience
  • Experience with process qualification in geometries below 40nm
  • Experience testing non-volatile memory
  • Strong ability to understand statistical data and yield analyses
  • Ability to fully comprehend device datasheets and create corresponding test and characterization plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Teradyne Test system proficiency
  • Expertise of Python scripting language

This position is located in Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
