JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:                             SENIOR EXECUTIVE CASINO HOST                     

STATUS:                                   FULL TIME

REPORTS TO:                          DIRECTOR OF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of Player Development Management, the Senior Executive Host will represent the casino through public relations and marketing efforts to acquire and retain premium VIP players. Senior Executive Hosts will be responsible for executing programs for recruitment of new players while creating brand awareness of the hotels in the marketplace.  

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
  • Ability to communicate with Guests in a professional manner
  • Answers Guest questions in a manner that reflects an understanding of the department and property in general
  • Maintains close communication with targeted guests through personal contact (telephone, email, in person, etc) to increase brand awareness, notify of upcoming events and promotions, external functions and special events to encourage trip frequency.
  • Maintains high standards of courtesy, professionalism, and discretion in all communications to, about, or with customers including their arrangements and finances.
  • Responsible for retention of existing guests and will assist in special services related to top tier players.
  • Meets or exceeds predetermined goals and measurable objectives established by management.
  • Recommends, as needed, improvements to facilities or services to ensure the success of guest programs.
  • Interact daily with Table Games, Slots, and F&B supervisory team to identify areas of opportunity and address areas of concern when necessary.

 

 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form
  • Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
  • Must have 1 to 6 months of related experience
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with Team Members and Guests
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Ability to read and speak English
  • GED
  • Degree in related field

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Work is typically in an area which may be unusually noisy and may contain second hand smoke
  • Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned areas as well as constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
