Role Summary:

Our Chubb Ottawa branch is currently looking for a Security Service Technician to perform Service  functions on intrusion alarm systems, access control, and camera systems.

 

Responsibility:

  • Troubleshoot alarm panels, CCTV systems, and Card Access systems. 
  • The Technician will be responsible for Surveying sites prior to installation
  • Testing and commissioning of systems to Operations center
  • Service and programming of Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion systems
  • Training of the end-user
  • Inspection of existing systems

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education concentrated on technical electronics and networking will be valued
  • Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.)
  • Experience and technical knowledge of security products and standards/codes
  • 2+ years experience in a similar position in the electronic discipline
  • 2+ years of experience servicing alarm systems
  • Good computer/networking skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
