Role Summary:

Chubb’s Winnipeg branch is recruiting for a Security Technician to perform high quality installations, renovations and programming for our current customers and provide superior customer service.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, install and program systems (alarm, access control and CCTV) as per the customer’s specifications
  • Communicate with customers to identify the source of the problem of their alarm system.
  • Independently perform high quality service, proper maintenance and make recommendations for improvement to the system if needed.
  • Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators
  • Work to meet all installation and service call deadlines
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required
  • Travel required withing the geographical area with occasional overnight stay 

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Security Alarms, Access Control and CCTV systems 
  • Strong skillset working in network and computer environments
  • Network data  cabling testing and termination experience 
  • Mechanically inclined 
  • Voice Data Video "M" License (voice data video) - Limited Specialized Trade Electricians’ License
  • Basic understanding of electrical code and requirements  
  • A valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean record
  • Certified training in ( product training) with (Lenel, Kantech, Genetec, others) Mandatory
