Role Summary:

Chubb's Central Monitoring Station in Mississauga is currently recruiting an Alarm Operator who will monitor and respond to alarm signals in a prompt and efficient manner following established procedures and guidelines.

Key Job Responsibilities:

•Respond to incoming signals in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring excellent response time.
•Listen to customers and identifies needs and/or problems, decides which course of action should be taken based on the particulars of the situation and follows established procedures and guidelines
•May provide some verbal assistance to customers in resolving issues regarding basic system operation and maintenance.
•Ensures his/her knowledge is kept abreast of any and all operational changes, equipment/system updates, changes in company policies, etc. that will have an effect on operations and productivity.
 

Qualifications:

•Post-secondary degree/ diploma (with a focus in dispatching an asset)
•2-3 years of experience in a customer-oriented position; ideally in an office environment
•Strong Data entry/keyboarding skills
•Previous call center and customer service experience environment
•Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
•Highly organized and able to work under pressure and in changing environments
•Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and effective at building relationships - with a strong client service orientation
•Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory
•Self-motivator with a positive outlook
•Ability to work day, afternoon and night shifts including weekends
