Role Summary:
Chubb is currently seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Fire sales and Fire operations divisions for the Greater Toronto Area, Cambridge, London, Barrie, and Stoney Creek regions and surrounding markets. The position requires a forward-thinking and highly driven P&L leader to be accountable for realizing growth and profitability objectives. Directly leading sales teams and operations teams, the incumbent will be responsible for all branch office sales & satellite office sales, installation, service, and administrative activities.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures branch achievement of monthly and annual sales, profitability and operational objectives as detailed within the annual business plan.
- Prepares and presents the branch’s annual operating budget and plan.
- Coaches, guides, and develops reports, and regularly evaluates their performance.
- Prepares and submits time-sensitive reports to regional management and various departments, including forecasts of new sales orders & revenue, and previous period service & installation closings and margins.
- Ensures overall regional compliance to policies with respect to company practices, pricing, contract terms, billing, collections, documentation procedures, and industry standards (e.g., Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada).
- Promotes Chubb’ products and services and continuously manages customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in a business or technical discipline OR possesses an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- At least 8-10 years of commercial business experience, of which 5+ years include management/strategic planning/budgeting.
- In-depth knowledge of sales management practices and techniques in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Fire product contractor sales.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of end-user service contract sales.
- ERP experience would be beneficial
- Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com).
