Intern, Automation / Controls
The Automation & Controls Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skill sets within the field that he/she is studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience being involved in managing multiple projects in the food industry. The Intern will be involved in all different types of with enhancements and upgrades to our facilities and network infrastructure.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Make modifications to PLCs
- Complete modifications/upgrades to HMI/Operator interface
- Process control analysis and improvements
- Enhancements to historical tracking systems
- Electrical troubleshooting and documentation
- Functional and controls engineering documents
- Other projects/duties as assigned
The requirements of this position include:
- Controls/Automation Interns should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program and studying Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
- PLC experience in the Rockwell platform is preferred, but other platforms (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider, etc.) would be acceptable
