Intern, Packaging

The Engineering department is seeking a Packaging Intern at our New Berlin, NY location. This position will be responsible for providing support to Chobani's corporate packaging and engineering teams to assist in upgrades, productivity improvement and documentation enhancement.

The responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Completing engineering studies on current installation to enhance operations and performance
  • Participating in the preparation and validation of packaging element specifications
  • Participating in equipment start-up to support the Chobani technical teams
  • Developing manuals and project timelines
  • Other duties as assigned
The requirements of this position include:
  • Packaging Interns should be currently enrolled in & completed the first two semesters of an accredited Engineering program, with a focus on Industrial, Mechanical, or Packaging Engineering
  • Experience with engineering drawing, fluid mechanics and strength of materials
