About the Role
As a Group Home Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of a ChildServe Home, ensuring highquality care, staff leadership, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role supports 24-hour operations and helps create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children and young adults with special health care needs.

 

Schedule:

 

M-F Business hours with rotating on call weekends and evenings

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Oversee daily home operations, including oncall duties, safety, supplies, budgeting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, billing requirements, and implement improvements based on audits.
  • Build positive, ageappropriate interactions with children/young adults and lead care planning with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate with therapists and other professionals to ensure care needs, equipment, and services are provided.
  • Hire, train, coach, and support staff; oversee scheduling, manage overtime, and ensure highquality care through observations and retraining.

 

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; meets QIDP qualifications.
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Skilled in decisionmaking, prioritization, and maintaining professionalism in changing environments.
  • Ability to follow policies and regulatory guidelines; proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software; maintains confidentiality and works effectively with diverse populations.
