Guest Services Assistant (Part-Time)
Description
As a Guest Services Assistant, you will provide administrative support services to the Welcome Center and ChildServe operations to ensure that families, staff, and visitors have a positive experience. This includes welcoming visitors, answering a multi-line phone, navigating electronic faxes, and completing clerical work/projects as needed.
Schedule
Monday and Wednesday: 12:00pm - 5:30pm
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Answer multi-line telephone, routing the call as appropriate. Assist with mail as needed. Receive and process organizational faxes coming into the fax machine in a timely, confidential and accurate manner.
- Coordinate petty cash and payment functions, and monitor assigned cash boxes.
- Greet and identify the needs of visitors to ChildServe. Provide a positive customer service experience when interacting with families, visitors, and staff. Identify and communicate to providers when clients have arrived for appointments.
- Monitor the security system on assigned doors and contact facility support if issues arise. Assist leadership with emergency response needs.
- Direct visitors and clients to appropriate destinations. Monitor the weather radio and make necessary alert calls as needed.
- Provide clerical support to program and partner programs, as requested by leaders. May assist with updating data, providing project support, data collection, and similar tasks. Complete other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One year of clerical/administrative or customer service experience.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
